Fall Break at the Schofield Cabin

During October when the kids were out of school for fall break, Adam and I thought it would be fun to go up to the Egbert families Schofield cabin for the weekend with some of the Senior couples from my mission.  We ended up getting Jim and Dorothy Andrus who I served with in Maribor to join up us for a day, as well as Sister MaryLou Wilding who drove all the way down from Idaho to spend the weekend with us!  It was so awesome to all be together again and get to catch up on all the many adventures we’ve all been on over the years!  Unfortunately I was in the sick stage of pregnancy and therefore only remembered to take pictures one of the days our friends were up, so I have ZERO pictures with the Andrus’s but I did manage to get one with Sister Wilding.  Yay!  My parents also came up for the weekend which was so fun as well.  Below are the few pictures I remembered to take before our fun weekend was over.
One of our favorite activities was putting together a puzzle of the Bled Castle in Slovenia which I just happened to find at Walmart one day while shopping!  It was perfect for our mini Slovene mission reunion!

Here you see the only picture I managed to snap with our adorable Sister Wilding!  We sure love her!

A picture of the Bled Castle puzzle we spent all weekend working on.  This was only half of the puzzle too!

I wish I could remember exactly the story behind this picture but alas, it has left me.  I do believe though that it had something to do with the kids getting into the leftover fire charcoals from the night before!  And I seem to remember a very frustrated Daddy who had to give all the kids a bath after said fun was had! 🙂  ha ha.

Boys enjoying watching Daddy play games!

We sure did have a great time with our friends and loved our little get-away from home for the weekend!  How blessed we are to be surrounded by such amazing people!
