Back towards the end of September some of our good friends in our neighborhood held a special “Fight for a cure” Bull fight to raise money to do research for their son and other kids with Type 1 Diabetes. Seeing as we had never been to a bull fight before and wanting to support our friends, we got tickets for our whole family and then took one of Adam’s co-workers who was in town from India! Unfortunately it ended up raining all night, which was hard on the audience and the bull fighters but it definitely made for a much more entertaining evening. Our family got lucky though and found seats in the covered area which kept us nice and dry! It was sure a lot of fun though and really interesting to watch the talent of these bull fighters. Some would jump over the bulls, jump into barrels, jump on the fence to get away from them, and others weren’t lucky enough to get away and would get trampled scaring the bajeebees out of the audience. It really was crazy entertaining though and the kids seemed to enjoy the excitement. Below are some pictures form our evening.
Check out all that mud!
Here’s our buddy Raghu! We kind of forgot about the fact that Raghu was Hindu where they have a reverence for cows. But when we brought it up, he was fine with it and wasn’t offended at all.
Dawson has got to be one of the most ticklish kids I know! He sure loves his Daddy!
