Sunrise Peak Crater (Seongsan Ilchulbong)

I have to admit, out of all the things we did our first day on Jeju island, this was by far one of my favorites!  I just had no idea that seeing a crater could be so cool, and so so soooo beautiful!  I literally felt like I was in heaven being near this thing.  It was just gorgeous!  So please forgive the plethora of pictures once again.  I just want to remember every moment!
A view of the crater from across the bay.

Our driver was kind enough to take these pictures for us. He seemed to know the perfect picture spot!

If you look at the pictures above, the hike to the top of the crater was no small task, and because it was so unbelievably hot and humid, we had to stop OFTEN for breaks.  The one thing that saved us were these little fans that the boys found on the side of the road.  They worked wonders to help cool us down when we needed it most!

This may be Ady’s first picture with my camera!  Good job baby girl!

We pretty much stopped along the trail every time we found shade!

The views as we hiked were just gorgeous!

Although these stairs were actually the ones taking us DOWN the crater, they are a good representation of what we climbed to get up!  It was no small feat!

But we made it to the top! Yay!

It was actually really really foggy and hard to see the crater, but luckily photoshop helps bring it out a little.  And I kind of adore these pictures of Ady with Adam and I.  No wonder she has us all wrapped around her little finger. She’s just too cute for her own good!

This was the pose she chose for the picture.  I just followed suit!

Sure love these cute fella’s too!  How lucky I am to be the mother of these wonderful kids!

Definitely a must see if you are ever on Jeju Island! We loved every minute!
