Our last night in Mumbai we met Amit, Smruti, and Viyaan and their friends at a country club near the city. They had invited us to go swimming, but because several of us had been sick on the boat, we didn’t think swimming sounded very inviting. We shouldn’t have made the decision so quickly though because by the time we all got to the club, the pool seemed like a welcome relief from the heat.
They also had a fun playground that the kids had a great time at.
And even some Indian art on display!
We ended up having a wonderful dinner at the club with Amit and Smruti and their friends and then we went back to their place for a relaxing night at home watching the lego movie. Adam had gotten a little stomach issue during our time in Mumbai and needed to rest at home for a bit.
Then the next day we had to head back to the airport to be home in time for Adam to get to work.
We sure did enjoy our time with Amit, Smruti, and Viyaan and just feel so thankful to have such good and generous people in our lives. It was such a joy to see Amit again and meet his beautiful family! We can’t wait to see them again at the 10 year reunion this fall! Thank you guys again for your hospitality, kindness, use of your driver, and the wonderful memories we all made together! We sure love you guys!
