Ward Dinner Dance

Towards the end of February our ward hosted a nice dinner dance to give husbands an opportunity to do something nice for their wives.  They had a wonderful Brisket dinner with all the works and then had a dance afterwards.
The sad news was that Adam was in India for the big night.  The good news is that I was able to convince my awesome brother Luke (also known as Doo Doo Head) to accompany me to the dance.  Dancing is one of my very favorite things to do in the world mind you – so there was pretty much no way I was going to miss out on THAT opportunity!  Thank you Luke for taking me!
We really had a great time too and loved telling people that Luke was my “weekend boyfriend” and then confusing people even more when I’d kiss Luke on the cheek.  I think the family resemblance was too strong though because most people just laughed and didn’t believe our joke for long! 🙂  ha ha.  We had a ball waltzing, line dancing, and shaking our booties though while the kids had fun watching movies in the nursery! Sure was a fun evening out with my brother and it meant so much to me that he would come and do that with me!  Thanks so much little bro!  You so totally rock!
