Back on November 16th I had the wonderful privilege of being invited to the sealing of one of my very favorite young women from my ward! Sydney and I became close the first year I was called as girls camp director because not only was Syd one of my YCL’s (Youth Camp Leaders) but she also drove up with me to camp where I really got to know the wonderful woman she is. Sydney has also watched my kids for me when Ad and I go away on our getaways and I just adore her! I have always just been really impressed with Syd and her very sincere desire to do what was right, at the right time, and in the right way.
I also love how open Sydney is with me and how often times she would come over “just to talk” and to get advice on her latest relationship. Her life reminded me a lot of my own when I was her age, and it was fun to be able to see things from a different perspective now that I have a few more years under my belt. Syd just always made me feel like “one of the girls” even though I was more than a decade older than her. I just love that girl!
So you can imagine my excitement when I got the news that Sydney’s beloved Sam had popped the question! I was jut so happy for her, and Sam really seemed like her perfect match! I was even more thrilled when I received her wedding invitation and found out I was invited to her sealing! What a special beautiful privilege it was to see her sealed to her eternal sweetheart for time and all eternity! She made such a BEAUTIFUL bride! Below are some pictures of Syd’s special day!
