Trouble!

Every once in awhile we just have a day that is crazy where everything that can go wrong does or where our whole day is just spent cleaning up messes.  Like the time when not one, not two, but three of the four kids all spill their drinks at dinner, (we pledge allegiance to the water), or those mornings when everyones cereal seems to end up on the floor, or someone knocks the full jar of strawberry jam off the table shattering it on the ground below, or how about the time when an entire bottle of nutella gets smothered all over the entire kitchen.  THOSE days!
Then there are other times like the below when your two year old daughter gets into a bowl full of cut up tomatoes to be used on top of enchiladas for dinner and decides to smother said tomatoes in guacamole and fruit salad just before guests arrive!  And oh how beautiful the kitchen looks after finger painting in guacamole!

Good thing she’s so stinkin’ cute!

Layer #1 (bottom) tomatoes.  Layer #2 (middle) cut up cantelope, pineapple, & grapes.  Layer #3 homemade guacamole.  Yum!

Or how about the time when your sweet darling 4 year old son (ON THE SAME NIGHT), decides he wants to “smell” the nice red raspberry candle that Mommy put high up on the shelves (so little hands wouldn’t touch it) and he proceeds to climb up the sheles which in turn knocks the candle off the shelf spilling it all over down the front of the shelf and all over the carpeted floor for 6-8 feet?

Hard to see but this is how far back the candle wax spilled on the carpet.  Exactly where I’m standing to take the picture.  Crazy!

Ya gotta love those days of Trouble!  They are certainly ones to remember! 🙂
