For awhile now, Adam and I have been wanting to take our kids to a new movie that came out called Ephriams Rescue. Its a true story about a man named Ephriam who converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and later helped rescue the Willy and Martin Handcart company who were stuck out on the plains with no food in the middle of the winter as they traveled along the pioneer trek. Ephriam became known for the miracles he performed using the priesthood power which he held and the movie showed several of these miraculous healings throughout the movie. So one night, on a day Adam had worked from home, we took off a bit early to catch the 5:00 showing of the movie in Spanish Fork. There was only one other couple in the theater with us but it truly was a wonderful show that taught wonderful principals of how powerful faith can be. We all really enjoyed it and had fun getting out as a family for a night of fun and then talking about it later.
We had to laugh though when half way through the movie the large bucket of popcorn we had been eating out of was converted to a stylin’ hat for Harry. These kids sure are a crack up! What joy they bring to our lives!
