Kralj Family Visit

A couple weeks ago I saw a post on facebook from one of my amazing Slovene Friends Barbara Majc Swenson with some great news.  1) That she was due to have her darling baby boy that day, and 2) that one of my favorite Slovene families the Kralj’s were IN the U.S. and visiting her that evening!  I was of course overjoyed with this news and immediately began trying to find out more information and the Kralj’s plans so that I could arrange a time to see them.  I ended up posting the news out on our mission facebook page and we were able to round up a bunch of former missionaries for a mini reunion with the Kralj’s.  It was seriously an amazing night!
Our wonderful former senior couple the Allens were kind enough to host the event up their home in Murray (they were also hosting the Kralj’s that night) and everyone brought a dessert or finger food to share.  It was so wonderful not only to see the Kralj family again but to also see former missionaries I’d served with, and meet other missionaries who had gone later and had great updates on people I knew.  I was simply in HEAVEN to be back with all these wonderful friends.
The Kralj’s are really special to my heart too because I was able to spend time in their home when they were taking the missionary discussions and to see them all baptized.  Their little girl Maja was one of my favorite little girls on my mission (she was only two back then) and I just adored her and loved to play with her at church.  I couldn’t believe she was 14 and had turned into such a beautiful young lady!
Adam and I were also able to visit with the Kralj’s when we went back to Slovenia for our 1st year anniversary and we attended the temple with them in Germany.  We just love the Kralj family!!!  Below are some pictures from our fun night together!

Can you just sense the love and excitement in my face seeing Bogdon again? He ended up being the Branch President in Ljuljana for 5 years shortly after I returned home from my mission.  GREAT man!

The Kralj’s and Allens!

Happy Day getting to introduce my family to the Kralj’s!

The kids had fun making new friends too!  My kids with the Gunnel kids. Cute!

It seriously was just a dream come true for me to see the Kralj’s, Allens, and Gunnels again!  What a wonderful group of people that I just feel so very blessed to be associated with!  Love you all!
