Last week one of my wonderful old room mates Shauntai contacted me via email to let me know she was going to be in town from Missouri. It had been two years since I had last seen her so I was thrilled and excited to spend some time with her. We decided it would be fun to take the kids to the Spanish Fork Reservoir where they could play while we talked! It ended up being the perfect place for fun and catching up. The kids and I got done with our jobs earlier than normal (we must have been excited) and so we went to the reservoir a little early for some additional play time.

After about an hour this pretty lady and her crew showed up to play with us! I was amazed at how much Brylie and Wyatt had grown and we loved meeting new baby Rachel. Shauntai also brought her two older nieces Savannah and Mckena who were a huge help with the kids!

It took our kids about an hour to warm up to each other – but after that they all were the best of friends. Brans and Brylie had fun walking around the reservoir looking for fish, and Dawson, Harry and Wyatt loved playing in the sand together and having sword fights with the beach noodles. A fun time was had by all!
