After two weeks of being separated from our Daddy we were pretty excited when the day came that he would finally get home. We wanted to help him know how much we missed him so we threw a little surprise party for him for when he got home. Harry donated his Army guy he made as a welcome home sign and then we hung streamers all over the house, balloons, signs, and we made a cookies and cream cake. Daddy responded in kind by giving us all fun gifts from India which we immediately had to try on. Below are some pictures of Adam’s Welcome Home.
Army Sign Harry Donated for the Surprise
We each presented him with a Hawaiin Lei and a big hug as we walked in the door, we gave him a big vase of flowers, and put a hat on him that said “#1 Most Missed Daddy.”
We hung streamers all over the house. These are leading into our bedroom
Streamers on the fans that twirled when you turned the fan on and big bouncy balloons
Balloons on the dining room chairs with a sign reserving Adam seat.
After Adam’s big welcome he presented us with all the presents he got us from India.
New Indian clothes for all the kids!
Dawson had just woken up from a nap and wasn’t catching in the gift giving excitement quite yet.
He does do a pretty good mug shot impression though! 🙂
Mommy got new Indian clothes too. Dad went a little crazy and got me THREE new outfits!
Daddy also got all the kids little hand carved animals as well. Brans got a Lion, Harry got an Eagle, Dawson got a Dolpin, and Adalynn got her beloved “turdo” (turtle).
Welcome Home Daddy! We sure missed you and are so glad you are home!
