Easter Baskets!!!

This last weekend Adam and I decided to give the kids their Easter Baskets early so we can concentrate more of the true meaning of Easter on the actual day and because we wanted to give the kids their new Easter outifts for pictures later that day.  So as usual we sent them on a scavenger hunt of sorts to find where we had hid their baskets.  Branson’s was hidden up in Adalynn’s closet on a hanger behind her clothes.  Harry’s was hidden on the coat wrack under a bunch of jackets, coats, and backpacks.  Dawsons was hidden in the clothes hamper in our bathroom.  Adalynn’s was hidden behind a chair in the living room and Daddy’s was hidden in a fake tree in the mudroom.  Then Daddy also surprised me and hid a shirt I had bought myself and a cute little shelf he had gotten me downstairs in the basement so I too could get in on the fun.  Needless to say we all had a great time!
The boys each got a new suit in their baskets along with a new book, a new vibrating toothbrush, socks, glow stick, fish piggy banks and crayons.  Adalynn pretty much got the same except hers consisted of two new dresses, some new tights, and bows.  Daddy got a new tie and fedora hat.
Since I forgot to take pictures of all the kids with their baskets, we decided just to take pictures of them with our Easter display in our front room.  Please forgive the half naked Dawson.  He’d had an “accident” that morning and had just gotten out of the bath when we were taking pics.  So he’s sporting his skivs and a warm blanket to keep warm. 🙂

Does life get any better than this?  Love these kids!
