In the middle of March my cute nieces Jasmine and Trinity and my nephew Kollin were up from Hurricane on Spring Break. We were lucky enough to get to have them spend the night one evening and then stay and play with us all the next day. So after a yummy breakfast of pancakes and egg sandwiches we packed up some sandwiches and a picnic lunch and headed over to the Salem Pond with our good friends the Millets for some fun in the sun! It was an absolutely beautiful day and really such a nice break from the cold and snow we’d been getting. The kids loved playing on the swings and playground, feeding ducks their left over sandwich bread, and then making mud castles in the water. And Susan and I enjoyed talking and catching up on each others lives. Sure was a great day spent with lots of people we love!
