One Saturday in February Adam wanted to go and work on the basement storage rooms he’s been building but my mudroom (actually just a bedroom where all our junk ends up that we refer to as the mudroom) was DRIVING me CRAZY and so I kindly asked Ad if he would be so kind and friendly as to build me some shelves with some wood we had laying out in the garage. So after googling some tutorials on how to build these particular kind of shelves and me drawing out how I wanted them – Ad set to work and within only a few hours he had these babies all whipped out for me. Then I spent the next few hours painting my new shelves before we had to run off to a ward dinner activity the Young men were putting on for couples.
I was sure proud of my awesome handy man Adam though and love love LOVE my new shelves. We were able to move all our board games from 3 other closets upstairs down to these shelves and now have them all in one place. Its been so fun and we are having a great time as a family re-discovering some of the games we had that we had forgotten about. Every shelf is now completely full of fun new games to play! Thanks Adam for all your hard work! I sure do love you!
Before the shelves this was just a standard closet with the bar going all the way across the closet and the one shelf up above. But with the shelves it has now become the game closet with just a smaller rod for coats and snow clothes. đ
