Harrison Family Christmas Party

The Sunday before Christmas my side of the family got together for our Harrison Family Christmas party up at my Mom and Dads home in Alpine.  All my siblings along with my Papa and cousin Ray Ray were able to make it .  It was wonderful to all be together.  We started out with a yummy ham, rolls, cheesy potatoes, veggie tray, sweet cauliflower, and jello dinner and then had fun upstairs talking and catching up on each others lives.  Later we did the kid gift exchange and then the Adult white Elephant gift exchange which is always a hoot.  We get a kick out of opening crazy gifts of junk, girl stuff, and other items.  And every year its fun to see what people come up with.  Then we exchanged our “real” gifts with each other.  Mom and Dad again spoiled us rotten with an entire plastic tub full of presents including a gift card to Texas Roadhouse, itunes gift cards, the spot it game, angry birds characters, and nice toys for each of the kids (a pirate ship and action figures for the boys, and a disney princess sleeping beauty doll for Adalynn).  They sure do spoil us!  We ended the night with pie, and some supper yummy homemade oreo cookies Stacey made.  Delish!  Below are some pictures from the evening.

The joke seemed to be on Luke this year and the gifts he picked just happened to be a pink purse with lots of fun girly things in it and….

A picture of himself in some pink pajamas.  At Thanksgiving we watched some home movies and Luke seemed to always be wearing some pink footy pajamas in several of the videos when he was just a baby.  So Stacey made this awesome picture of Luke in some pink pajamas as a gag gift.  It was hilarious!

Stacey’s other white elephant gag gift was some womens Anti Monkey Butt powder!  Adam got that one and LOVED it! 🙂  He can’t wait to try it out! ha ha.

We sure do love spending time with our families!  How blessed we are!
