In our neighborhood we have a special tradition that we do where every year we do some sort of service for needy families instead of exchange neighbor gifts. Last year our neighborhood was able to help several families out for Christmas and this year we decided to help out the food bank who were dangerously low on food for needy families. However, Adam and I still like to deliver a few neighbor gifts to our widows, inactives, and special friends to let them know we are thinking about them during the holidays. So this year we decided to make FUDGE! My sister in law Marcie makes the best fudge in the world and so using her recipe we set out to make our first batch ever. It turned out fantastic and the boys LOVED helping me by licking the bowl clean! đ Later that evening we cut up the fudge (which is actually quite hard) and then wrapped it all up and delivered it around the neighborhood. I loved how excited the boys would get delivering the gifts and singing “we wish you a Merry Christmas” to those we made deliveries too. Its moments like these that make me just love the Christmas season!
