One day while the older boys were at school, Dawson was helping me pick up the floor in my room while I folded some laundry. As he was cleaning he found an old pregnancy book that Adalynn had taken off my book shelf and he proceeded to open up the book and then flip through the pages look at all the pictures. As he went through the book he would make comments like, “Mommy this is when the baby is in your tummy” and “this is the baby growing. See how it gets bigger and bigger?”and he’d then proceed to show me pictures of a woman with a big tummy or a baby in the womb at 6 months and then 9 months. The funniest comment though was when he turned to the picture below in which he said, “and sometimes Mommy’s get BIG EARS when they have babies in their tummies too!” I was seriously in TEARS laughing about it. And replied by saying, “yep, you are probably right buddy. Those do look like some big ears!” So so funny! Sure love these little ones and the way they make me smile every day!
