About a month ago I gave all the boys including Adam haircuts. I have to admit I’m still not very good at giving hair cuts even though I’ve been doing them now for about 9 or 10 years. But alas…thats what we do around here to save a little money. Two weeks ago though I started noticing how uneven Dawsons hair looked and I thought that I’d just really missed the mark with Dawsons haircut. I kept thinking to myself, “I really need to re-do his hair one of these days AND get online and google how to cut hair. I pretty much stink at hair.” My skills just seemed to be getting worse.
You can imagine my surprise then when I went up into his room one day and noticed chunks and balls of hair ALL over. And of course a handy dandy pair of scissors was also nearby. Ah ha! So it really wasn’t my lack of awesome hair cutting skills afterall. We’d just had our first “kid cutting their own hair” experience. I have to admit I found it pretty funny. And I’ve even left his hair the way it is because it cracks me up. Below is the wad of hair I collected from off his bedroom floor.
Looks like we have a barber in the family! Come on over for FREE cuts! :)
