This last Friday Adam and I had the wonderful pleasure of accompanying our good friends the Millets out for a Birthday celebration. Raphael’s birthday was in the house and so we were able to stuff our faces silly in birthday fashion by going to Tucanos for dinner. It had been over 5 years since I’d last been to Tucanos and so I had fun re-experiencing mouth watering meats, black beans and rice, awesome cheese bread, lemonade, and an assortment of other Brazilian yumminess. I was in HEAVEN and it made me remember and miss my sweet Lelia and all of her family whom I was able to spend a month with down in Brazil in my earlier years.
After dinner and rolling ourselves out of Tucanos we decided to hit up some shops. One of Raphael’s favorites was this toy store that had all sorts of interesting and different toys. We had a ball playing around in there trying on hats, pinching each other with dinosaurs, and talking about board games. Susan and Raphael were a blast to be around and we love how easily we are able to talk and tease. Sure was a great night with great friends! Thanks you Millets for letting us tag along.
