Earlier this week Adam and I were out working in the yard planting some new flowers when a downpour rainstorm came through. It was still mostly sunny but the rain came down pretty hard for a few minutes. Adam LOVED it and continued working liking the coolness of the rain falling on him – but Adalynn wasn’t too happy in the rain and so she and I took shelter in the house.
Afterwards the most beautiful rainbow came out just behind our house. It was one of the best I’ve seen. So beautiful and I love the blue sky and mountains in the background.
It even had the double rainbow behind it.
Then just before we came in from working for the evening we got to see the most beautiful sunset. Unfortunately I didn’t grab my camera until right before it was over – so the colors aren’t as brilliant but man was it pretty at its peak!
