There never seems to be a dull moment around here at the Egbert house and we seem to be in a constant state of motion. We must like it that way though or else we would stop doing it! đ
I think I’ve mentioned on here before that Adam recently got promoted to a new position at Adobe. Now instead of working with clients all day, Adam is a manager working with employees. And even though he was a team lead before this new position – most of the people Adam manages are new to him.
This week all of Adam’s new team are in town from all over the country (Virginia, New York, Texas, Florida, and San Fransisco) and so in an effort to get to know his team better Adam asked if we could host a dinner at our home on Monday. So host we did. We ended up calling in some caterers to do the food for us though and Adam ended up getting this great company to come in that does DUTCH OVEN!! Man oh man was the food good. Ribs, Chicken, cheesy potatoes with bacon, fresh corn on the cob, scones with honey butter, salad, homemade rootbeer and even peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. YUM! All in all, I think it turned out pretty good. Below are some pics. from the evening.
Adalynn all dressed up for the party (in the new outfit Nana gave her! Thanks Mom!)
Dutch oven food all ready to go!

Todd from San Fran
After dinner most everyone stayed and just hung out and then at around 9pm Adam brought out his Telescope for an astronomy show. Sure was fun getting to know some of Adam’s team. They seemed like a great group of people!
