After the Splash Pad we had planned to go to the Pioneer Park with our friends the Kerics but they ended up getting back later than expected from their Kayaking trip that morning and so we only saw them for 15 minutes in passing. Darn it all. But it was a GOOD 15 minutes! And we’ll take it.
Before they got there though we were able to hike around in this slot canyon and then up on the boulders up above. The kids loved hiking around and getting to explore and climb. Adam got stuck in the slot canyon and had to come back down. He met Sissy and I up on the rocks and then took the boys on a short little hike/climb up higher on the boulders while I fed Sis in the car. We all LOVED the canyon though and definitely will come back here. It had been since I graduated from HS since I had been to Pioneer Park and it did not disappoint.
I loved all the holes and formations that the wind and rain over the years has caused. So awesome!
