As in tradition in our house, the morning of St. Patricks Day we like to have a bit of fun by making all our foods for the day GREEN. So usually breakfast consists of green eggs and ham! However, this year we decided to branch out a little more and in addition to our green eggs we also had GREEN SMOOTHIES! Loaded with spinach, kale, collards, parsley, banana, strawberries, and apple. The kids LOVED them! Green Smoothies have now become our staple breakfast item to start out day out right. We all are feeling great, have more energy, and love that we are getting more fruits and veggies in our diet!
