On Sunday, October 9th, 2011 Adam was able to bless our sweet baby girl Adalynn Jani at our church here in Payson. Through the power of the priesthood and the spirit of our Heavenly Father Adam gave Adalynn a beautiful blessing including a healthy body and a knowledge of God’s love for her. He blessed her with a desire to be righteous and follow the Lords path. He blessed her to be able to make good choices and to have the spirit with her and the power that comes with it. He blessed her to seek to marry in the temple to a worthy companion and blessed her with a good sense of humor and the perspective necessary to get through difficult times. She was blessed to be a peacemaker with a strong desire to share the gospel and help others who are struggling in life so that they too may feel the joy that comes through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
It was such a wonderful day and a beautiful blessing and both Adam and I felt very humbled. Adam and I were able to share our testimonies of our Savior Jesus Christ afterwards and our love for him and express our love for our friends and family who had come to support us.
After sacrament meeting we stayed for Sunday School where I was able to give my very first Gospel Doctrine lesson in my new calling as a Gospel Doctrine instructor… and can I just say how much I am absolutely LOVING this calling? It has been such a blessing to be able to prepare lessons and each day engross myself in my scriptures and learn from the manuals the church provides. I have been learning so much and love that each week I can feel my testimony growing as I study my scriptures. The New Testament is AWESOME!!!
After church we had a luncheon at our house and were so honored to have many of our friends and family join us to celebrate Adalynn’s special day. It truly was just a wonderful day spent with so many we love! Thank you, Thank you! Below are some pictures of our sweet baby girl!
And I just had to throw this in – but this was our last harvest of the season! It was so fun being able to have our own garden this year and partake of so many delicious fruits and vegetables!
