Earlier this month Adam and I decided to take the kids and go on a family date to a restaurant out in Santaquin. We had a coupon and hadn’t ever been there and since it was on our way to the Red Barn (our TRUE destination) we figured we’d give it a try. I’ll tell you what…we were NOT disappointed. It was a hole in the wall diner with bad lighting and sticky floors but man alive was the food good. I ended up ordering my first chicken fried steak EVER with homemade taters and gravy while Adam got a burger (very good one at that). And the best part…my meal came with one of the diners famous scones! When it came out we could see why it was so famous. Look at the size of that thing in the pictures below!

Afterwards we headed over to the red barn where we got some tasty apple cider and ice cream cones to finish off the night.
Sure was a fun date out with the kids!
