For our anniversary back in September I put together a little “trip down memory lane” for Adam and I. I had little strips of paper with 9 different fun things to do from our past that we did at random for our “date night out.”
Here Adam is sporting his tin foil tie as my knight in “something shiny.” Adam proposed to me by being delivered in an old refrigerator box when I worked at Novell where he got down on his knee after I opened the box and asked me to be his wife. he was wearing a suit and tinfoil tie because I always teased him saying that I was never going to find a knight in shiny armor and that I would settle for a knight in something shiny! So for one of our activities he got a card board box and proposed to me this tinfoil tie. So cute! He truly is the greatest “gift” in my life!
Another activity from our “dating days” was to do some creative kissing. We had to kiss with different flavors of chapstick, ice, and do an upside down spiderman kiss. Don’t mock it till you try it. LOADS of fun. Trust me!
Adam getting ready to propose for the 2nd time.
We also had to go out and take pictures by some sunflowers. We did this the day we got engaged and used one of the pictures from that night in our wedding announcement.
Another activity we did was to go out and take a picture on a lawn mower. One of our favorite wedding pictures is of us at the temple sitting on a riding lawn mower in my white dress at the temple. We had so much fun on our wedding day taking crazy fun pictures!
And that’s all folks. We did a few other things but unfortunately I didn’t take pictures. But it was a fun evening spent reminiscing and doing things from our past. Sure do love being married to this man of mine. What a lucky girl I am!
