Back in March (I know a REALLY long time ago) our friends the Ashby’s put together a fantastic date night for our Jurashics event. Unfortunately Collie was feeling sick that day – so the Ashby’s ended up missing their own party – but they had a very well planned out date for the rest of us to go on.
We started out at Kimber and Erics house in Alpine where we were given several envelopes with directions of what we should do. We all loaded up into the Jurgens van (thanks again for driving guys) and headed out to our first location – that of the dollar store – where we were instructed to buy 3 things. Unfortunately its been too long for me to remember what it was we were supposed to buy – but I remember that some of them were for our spouse and some of them were for someone else in the car. We tried to be super creative (and pick embarrassing things) to make it a little more fun. Below are some of the “outfits” we came up with. P.S. You had to wear them all night and or use them that night.

For our next few clues we had to go to different fast food joints to buy appetizers, dinner, and dessert. I believe the three establishments we went to were Taco Time, Wendy’s, and McDonalds. We were instructed that we could only spend $1 at each location so that our total date was less than $10. Crazy – but super fun! We loved every minute of it.
