This last weekend I had the wonderful opportunity of FINALLY attending one of my LEHI High School reunions. I have wanted to go to one ever since I graduated (clear back 100 years ago) – but I technically graduated from American Fork and so I never got the memo of when Lehi reunions were happening. Therefore in an effort to actually be in the KNOW for this one – I volunteered to be on the committee so there would be no way I would miss the details. đ
The reunion happened this last Saturday and we did it in two parts. The first part was a picnic in the park where we put in a mini carnival for the kids where they could get their faces painted, have a balloon animal made, play plinko, throw darts at balloons, and do some other fun activities (I forget what). We had everyone bring their own food and we had fun mingling with friends from High School for about two hours. I designated myself the reunion historian and took LOTS of pictures and tried to make sure I got everyone and their family – but because there are so many pictures – I’m only posted a few of my favorites with some of my favorite friends. Please forgive the formatting on these pictures. Blogger seems to be having a bad day and is not working the way it normally does. đ Bless its heart.
Some of my best friends from HS. Erica Jenkins Swenson and Jill Peterson Smith. Love these girls!
An attempt at a family picture – with Branson behind the lens.
Brad, Amie, Alicia, and Mark from the good ol’ days. Loved hanging with these awesome folks in HS.
Playing on the swings with Daddy! Yay!
Later that night we had an adult only portion of our reunion where we reserved Jack n’ Jill bowling Alley’s private room for 2 hours. We ordered pizza and had salad and cookies and then everyone got a 32 oz beverage of their choosing. It was super easy and yet SUPER fun. We decorated in our colors of purple and white and then welcomed people as they came in. Sarah (our reunion President) also made a cute slideshow with pictures from our year books and then recent family pictures of everyone she could find. It was such a fun night to talk with so many.
