I am still in shock that my oldest little niblet is really SIX YEARS OLD! Where has the time gone? Branson for about the last year has been BEGGING me for a friend party for his sixth birthday. In our family we allow the kids to choose to either have a friend party at home where we play games and have pizza, cake, and ice cream Or to have a family party where they get to go somewhere fun (Chuck E. Cheese usually being the favorite). However, about two weeks before Bransons birthday he informed me that he had “changed his mind” and wanted to do a family party instead. I was delighted by the idea (its always easier on Mommy that way) but I really worried he would be disappointed and pressed him further to make sure thats REALLY what Brans wanted to do. “Yep, he said. I’ll just do my friend party when I’m seven.” Okee Dokee. And so we started to plan his big event. He debated between Chuck E. Cheese, Pirate Island, and Jumpin Jacks for awhile but in the end Jumpin Jacks won out.
We started the day by opening presents where Branson got a new GREEN bike (his favorite color), a panda pillow pet, and lots of new books (he loves to read). Then he got to pick what he wanted for breakfast which consisted of Green Eggs and Ham, Chocky Milk, and Strawberries. A breakfast fit for a king….er leprechaun should I say? ha ha.

Later that morning we had Branson’s Kindergarten Graduation at his school and Mum and Smurf came down to join us for that. Branson sure loved being in the spotlight!

Showing off his graduation picture (he missed the day they did the professional ones but his sweet teacher took an impromptu one of him later. So sweet)

He spent the day playing with toys and riding his bike and then that evening we had Mum and Smurf and our cousin Erica over for Bransons favorite dinner. Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, broccoli, fruit salad, and french bread. Branson REALLY enjoyed his meal as you can see below!
