We had a really nice warm windy day back in May and decided it was high time to break out some of our awesome Kites. Adam got the below one at a yard sale for $2 last year and then the butterfly kite was one that I got over in China when I was there back in 1999. Wowsars! So it was OLD. Adam kept trying to convince me to JUST use it as decoration since it is a real Chinese kite and was super fragile but I couldn’t see the point of just putting a kite up on a wall someplace and never using it. So I told him I at least wanted to fly it once. Well – apparently Adam was right because after only 30 seconds of flying it starting to completely fall apart. So down it came and it is now reserved for Adam to use in his office with his other cool “Asian knick-nacks.”
