I really can’t believe that I am just now blogging pictures from the beginning of January – but with my pregnancy sicky-ickies the last few months my love for blogging has seemed to diminish and be flushed down the toilet along with the rest of my cookies! đ Bless my heart!
I’m feeling MUCH better now though and although I still am not very motivated to blog – and at this moment only doing it because I’m so behind – at least I’m doing it right? đ Thats a start!
Adam’s birthday was at the beginning of January. I still can’t believe he is in his mid 30’s! Where in the world has the time flown by to? He was pretty lucky this year and actually had his birthday off work due to the the New Years holiday being over a weekend – so we spent the day celebrating. We started off with a yummy breakfast and then Ad was able to open up his present from me and the boys. He only got one present this year – but it was a biggy – and I’ll have a hard time topping it in years to come.
A musical Christmas Fish you ask? Well no, that wasn’t what was the big surprise but it had a lot to do with it. This year for Adam’s birthday he got a 7 day trip to ALASKA fishing with his Brothers and Nephews! He was SO excited as he’s been begging for this for at least 5 years now.
The rest of the afternoon Adam’s desire was to play games on his wii and xbox with the boys and then later that evening he wanted to go out for dinner and a movie. We took the boys to see “Despicable me” and let them play in the arcade for a bit too.
Then we met up with my Mom and Dad at a Thai restaurant where Adam got whatever he wanted from the menu!
To end the evening we had his favorite butterfinger ice cream pie at home and blew out his candles! Sure was a fun day! We sure love you Adam. Hope you had a wonderful birthday!
