Adam and I have commented many times on how our sweet little Dawson is rarely into trouble – at least compared to his older brother Harry-bob who at 1.5 was into everything imaginable off limits and had Adam and I cleaning up some mess several times a day.
However, it seems that this week Dawson has turned a new leaf. Yesterday I walked into the kitchen to discover that Dawson had opened up the fridge, gotten out a loaf of bread, taken out every single piece of bread in the bag, placed them all on the kitchen counter, and then promptly colored them all green with a marker! After eating bits of pieces of several slices of course. So funny! I wish I’d taken a picture.
Then today I again found Dawson standing with the refrigerator door open where he had taken out a huge container of butter, as well as some bread, and some peanut butter from the pantry and was using a butter knife to spread butter onto the peanut butter lid and bread bag. It seems our little Sazza has a little fetish with bread. It is after all his favorite snack. And it looks like I’m in real need of a refrigerator lock since our wee one has discovered how to open it. Its been kinda fun though to have a little mischief around here to laugh at. And how appropriate considering Dawsons 2nd birthday is next week! Bring on the terrible twos baby…I’m all ready! 🙂
