Earlier this week Adam and I had the pleasure of having our amazing friends the Muirs over for dinner. I’ve been talking about making the Muirs one of our family favorite meals masaman Curry (Thai dish) for months now and finally got the chance to do it. The Muirs were so nice and even brought us over some very nice Chinese place-mats and chop sticks (from Jeff’s trip to China) which was absolutely perfect. I also made a new recipe of sesame noodles for the occasion and Lori brought her incredible homemade rolls. We were also pleased when Grandma Ruthie also decided to join us. I have come to love her and the Muir family so much.
After dinner we introduced the Muirs to a game called we like called “Killer Bunnies” and then had chocolate melting cakes (like the ones you get on cruises) for dessert. It was my first time making the cakes and they turned out DELICIOUS! I will definitely be making them again. Unfortunately the only picture I remembered to take during the night was the one of the table, but we sure had a fantastic time with the Muirs. Thanks so much for coming over guys! We always love any chance we get to spend time with you and adore you to pieces!
