For Family Home Evening a week ago Adam and I decided it would be fun to go out with the kids for a night on the town. Our first stop was to Carls Jr. where we got some burgers and fries and then let the kids play in the playplace for awhile. Then we were off to Salem Pond where we got to drive around the Lake to see the Christmas light display. This is always one of our favorite traditions to do during December. We were able to meet up with Mum and Smurf at the pond and then went back to their house where I brought out our “Christmas Box” for our FHE lesson and told a story about the symbols of Christmas and their meanings to help the kids understand that how Christmas is centered around Christ. It was a fun night to spend as a family.
