This last week Adam and I were fortunate to get a dinner invite from our wonderful friends the Jurgens, who we absolutely adore. And to just give you a glimpse into their awesomeness let me just tell you that our dear friends made us not just one dinner, but two. AND not just one dessert but (yes you guessed it) TWO. Is it any wonder we love these folks so much? They spoil us absolutely rotten and always make us feel so loved and special!
Missy started us all out with some yummy HOMEMADE pizza that she made that was delish, and then we moved onto some incredibly awesome Italian chicken dish with broccoli in it that I think I had about 10 helpings of. I couldn’t keep my hands off the stuff. We also had our choice of a fresh garden salad or strawberry pecan salad that Adam and I brought.

After dinner the kids had fun playing together in the great room while we adults crashed in the living-room and talked. Missy brought out a huge bowl of her yummy goey chexmix (that she’s pretty much known for) and although I had pretty much eaten my weight at dinner I somehow was able to stuff in about 10 more handfuls of that goey goodness as well. Joey in the meantime was in the kitchen making us all homemade apple pie from SCRATCH which we had later hot out of the oven. Oh my holy goodness! Is it any wonder why we love spending time with these guys? They truly are the best. Thanks so much for having us over Joey and Missy. You truly are such a blessing in our lives and we love you to pieces!
