For the last couple of weeks we’ve been trying to get together with one of our favorite friends from our old singles ward, Lindsey Smith, who works as a 1st grade school teacher here in Payson. She is just one of those people whom we adore and last year she even came to Lake Powell with us. So she is just like family now and we love her so much!
So Thursday was the day and we were able to have her over for a yummy dinner of BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, broccoli, loaded sweet potatoes, and croissant rolls with homemade raspberry jam. Ummm Good.
Earlier that day though we had been invited by our other AMAZING friends the Muirs to join them on their last boating trip of the summer! So after pretty much ZERO convincing (Lindsey wasn’t a hard sale) we were able to convince Linz to move our party to the beautiful Utah Lake! And boy oh boy was it fun! The Muirs had already skied by the time we arrived so Adam got to be the first from our family to jump in. He tried doing some wakeboarding and was pretty dang good!

Harrison got brave at the end of my turn and decided to jump in the water with me for a quick swim. He wasn’t too happy to be in the water once he got there though and immediately wanted back in the boat. Silly boy!
After our boating trip we took the Muirs and Lindsey out for Ice cream at McDonalds!
Lori made the awesome suggestion of getting Hot Chocolate since I was still shivering from being in my wet swim clothes! She’s always full of great ideas!
Sure was a WONDERFUL evening spent with WONDERFUL friends!
