My beautiful niece Kylie was baptized a few weeks ago and we were honored enough to be invited to support her on her special day. I always love going to baptisms as there is just such a wonderful spirit there. I also loved how organized her stake was. They had some great speakers who actually went down in the audience to speak to the kids getting baptized and then also had a get to know you sheet that they had filled out on each child so that we could know a little bit about them. Then after the baptism (while we were waiting for Kylie to dress) the Stake leaders gave all of us in attendance a card and pen to write a note to Kylie where we could share our love, thoughts, and own testimony with her. Then the stake presented Kylie with a baptism book they had made her with pictures of the savior and places where she could put the cards we had written to her. It was really neat and I think made it an extra special day for Kylie.
Afterwords we were able to go to my brother Jake’s home in Lehi and have a big family lunch together. It was such a wonderful day and I always love any chance I get to be with my family. They are a great group of people!
