Last night was our big June get-together with our Jurashic Eggs friends that we do dinner with monthly. It was the Jurgens turn to host and as usual they out did themselves cooking up some awesome BBQ chicken (with homemade BBQ sauce) and dutch oven potatoes. Ummm ummm good. Then the Kerics brought a wonderful fresh garden salad with peppers, almonds, cranberries and other yummy goodies, and the Ashby’s brought 3 different kinds of yummy bread. It was a perfect meal for a hot summer evening spent with friends.
After dinner we gathered in the great room and had fun talking about politics, how to keep our families strong in the gospel, and other grand topics (like which fabric of underwear breathes best in the summer, ha ha) and then we broke out the starbursts and smores stuff for desert (our contribution). We ended up making the smores in the oven in tinfoil and they turned out quite tasty if I do say myself (350 degrees for about 6-7 minutes). We also experimented with coconut covered marshmallows, butterscotch chips and Reeces peanut butter chips which made the smores oober yummy and gave them a little flare from the typical smores. They sure were good! Below are some pictures of the evening.

And this is what I get! (oh and this is the best one I got of the two of them!)
I think I’m going to start calling Kimber “littl’ miss attitude!” Love you girl.

Happy Birthday Bug!
