Freezer Jam

Earlier this week Adam spotted a super good deal being advertised at Payson market for flats of strawberries, ($4.99 for 8 packages) and since we were down to our last 3 jars of homemade strawberry freezer jam we thought it was high time we made some more!

Harrison was my big helper and spent literally an hour at the sink either washing jars and lids for me or washing (and eating) strawberries! (while I cut all the stems off)

Then he was kind enough to help me pour in the sugar and pectin!

And of course there was a little goofing off going on! Here the boys are trying to do the splits!

Love this face of Branson

Dancing around the kitchen seems to be a regular occurrence around our house.
Wonder who the boys get that from? 🙂

This little guy was napping for most of the fun but joined us at the end for an orange snack!

Adam was kind enough to do all our dishes afterwards! (My Hero!)

The boys had their own version of “washing dishes!”

Our finished product!
And another year supply of jam! Yay!

Afterwords Adam treated us all to homemade strawberry and pineapple margaritas!
Ummm good!
I’m so loving this new yearly tradition of ours!
