Branson Turns Five!

I seriously cannot BELIEVE that my baby boy is really five years old. Where has the time gone? Branson is such a joy and blessing to our family. He’s such happy little boy and genuinely tries to do whats right. (I’ve even overheard him asking other kids, “what would Jesus do?”)

Branson is our little performer! He loves to sing, dance with his Mamma, listen to musice, and put on little skits and plays each week at family home evening. He loves telling us made up stories, and singing us made up songs. He especially loves it when Mommy and Daddy tell him made up Bobo stories (a series Adam’s Dad started about a little tiny tiny man that lived under the stairs when Adam was little that we’ve continued doing with our kids).

Branson loves to read and has loved books since he was an infant. He loves to sit and have Adam and I read to him or to read books online on our computer. He also loves sounding out words as we read scriptures every night.

Branson is our movie lover, unlike his other two brothers who get too distracted to sit through an entire movie. His favorite movie is Madagascar and he especially loves Alex the Lion.

Favorite Foods: Macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, and pepperoni pizza
Favorite cake: Chocolate with chocolate frosting
Favorite color: Green and Orange
Favorite Friends: Blake and Sydney Weekly, Tanner and Gage Norman, Brady and Landon Cox, and Sammy and Will Jurgens.
Favorite Snack: Fruit snacks
Favorite Drink: Hugs cool-aide like drinks and chocolate milk
Favorite games to play: Hide and go seek, tag your it, and Indiana Jones on the xbox with Dad
Favorite things to do: Play with toys and friends, go outside, play at the park, go on hikes, watch movies, take baths, ride bikes.
Favorite toys: Poo Bear, Bella his Doll, Iron man car, play airplanes.
Favorite songs: I love to see the temple, The wise man built his house upon the rock, San Toki (a Korean song Adam taught the boys)

If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go? With my Mom and Dad on a hike and to Sammy’s house.
Who is your favorite Super Hero? Superman, Spiderman, and Jesus
Where do babies come from? Mommy’s tummy
Where do you want to go on a mission? Madagascar
What would you do with $100 dollars? I would go to New York and do lots of fun things with my son when I grow up.
What is one thing you would like to do this year? Play with my brothers and Blake and Sydney. What is one of your favorite memories from Christmas? Getting my Pig with hambergers from Santa.
If you could have one present this year what would it be? A pretend birthday cake
What is one way you want to help someone this year? Help Harry clean his room
Of all the things you can do, what are you best at? Being a good brother, not throwing rocks at my brother, playing games like hide and go seek.
What sports are you best at? jumping, climbing, and soccer
Where are some of your favorite places to go? The Dinosaur museum, the zoo, Felix cabin, Egbert cabin, to our condo.

Since we were going to be in San Diego over Bransons birthday we had a little mini celebration before leaving. Branson got to open his presents which consisted of a new wiggle car, Syd the Sloth stuffed animal, a Bingo game, and a Kung Fu Panda puzzle. Then we had pizza party and then Branson blew out his candles on his chocolate cake he picked out! Mum and Smurf came to help us celebrate!
