So,I hate to tell all you bloggers out there this…but apparently blogs are actually only free for a little while. On Sunday I had the goal to catch up on my blog, but after doing a few posts, I kept getting an error every time I tried uploading a photo that said I had exceeded my picture allotment. Ah, say what? I was so confused. So I clicked on the error and sure enough blogspot said that It only allowed so much pictures storage before it asks you to start paying.
Wow! I had no idea. The good news is that it completely reasonable (only $5 a year I think) but still I was completely baffled by this. I tried going out and maybe deleting some old pictures from clear back in 2007 when I first started (since I’m pretty sure no one ever reads back that far) but you can’t just delete your blog posts you don’t care about anymore. You actually have to go out to a picasa web album (that blogspot created for you) and delete your pictures out there. But even that trying to delete them there was a struggle as my computer kept freezing up on me. So I think I may just resort to paying the $5 so that I can keep posting things on my blog. Seriously crazy though. Did anyone else know about this? I am still in shock.
not fun and so true… I've run into that problem, but found that I had a few online albums that weren't connected to my blog and just took them off… let me know if you have a better solution… Love you guys and miss you tons!
