This year for our New Years Eve Celebration we were pleased to have the company of our wonderful Jurashic Eggs friends for the night. We started the evening off by ordering in some Chinese food and playing the game I.D. where you had to figure out a person place or thing that the card was describing. Kimber and Eric couldn’t join us until later so they are not in any of the pictures. Thanks Missy for letting me steal these pictures from your blog!
Later we broke out the goodies including the first of 3 birthday cakes for Adam. This one is the butterfinger ice cream cake made with peanut butter FAT BOYS! Very tasty indeed. The Ashby’s also brought an amazing chocolate moose cake and the Jurgens graced us with their incredibly addicting sweet chex mix. Sooo yummy!
Later we introduced our friends to “Your in the Movies” an xBox game that Adam picked up for me last year. Each person competes in different activities like shooting basket balls, riding a motorcycle through a course, running from a tornado, or scurring through a hamster wheel and you are scored by how well you do. Then the game takes makes those action shots into movies. Its pretty hilarious and we got a big kick out of everyones “Sweet Skills.”
We ended the evening by doing fireworks outside on our front lawn and having sparkler throwing competitions. Then everyone spent the night and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast together before parting ways. It was an absolutely lovely evening spent with lovely people! Thanks everyone for coming! We heart you!
