Dawson and I are a whopping 2 days apart which meant we had a lot of fun going on the same week at the Egbert house. For my birthday Adam gave me my 358 page 2009 blog book and I was extactic when it actually showed up on my doorstep the morning OF MY BIRTHDAY! Can you get better timing than that.
In the morning Adam made me one of my favorite breakfasts of Popeye pancakes and then that evening I requested to go to one of my favorite restaurants Tepenyaki where we ordered Yakitori, Filet Mignon and Shrimp, fried rice and noodles. It was Delish! And the kids loved seeing our cook throw flames all over the table and crack eggs so creatively.

Later that evening Adam made me my very favorite “Almost better than Kissing cake.” It has a pecan crust, creamy pudding, coconut, whipped cream mixed with powdered sugar and cream cheese, and then a hearty layer of cool whip on top. It was absolutely HEAVENLY. Thanks babe for making it for me! You are the BEST!
