Last night Adam and I were able to attend Omnitures last party before they become Adobe. (Which will be official next week sometime). In the invitation they announced that they would be giving away prizes for the best Omniture costumes in the categories of most original, funniest, most true to omniture, and best Omniture green (I think). I have heard how elaborately they do their Halloween parties (which is coming up very soon) and therefore I was CERTAIN they would have great prizes. And I was even more certain that one of the prizes would be a Wii. (Which I SOOO want for Christmas!) So I was bound and determined to come up with something clever. So the good news it that they did indeed give away a Wii (and an Ipod touch, camera, and PS3) The bad news is that we didn’t win. đ But we did get to see some totally great costumes!
Also a funny story about this guy. They call him Stevo and for two years he was banned from coming to any Omniture costume party because his costume of choice one year was to wear a speedo and nothing else. Yeah, pretty gross! So last night was his first year back after his company banishment and once again he went as far as he could possibly go to make people feel uncomfortable without breaking any rules.

One of the highlights of the night for me was running into Sister Jones (and her husband). She and I both served our mission to Slovenia and had a fun time reminiscing about old times.

For our costumes we decided to poke fun at the Omniture/Adobe merger and so Adam was Mr. Omniture and I was Adobe. Notice Adam’s awesome Cumber bun. (Made from a green towell)

I told Adam next year that maybe we should invest in some red spandex! đ Ewwww!
The night was wonderful though and we sure had a great time. My favorite part of course being dancing at the end with my hunk of burning hotness! Thanks Adam for such a fun night and thank you Rufee and Jessie for watching the boys for us. You guys rock!
Looks like so much fun!
What a fun party! So is Adam feeling pretty optimistic about the merge. I hear they've confirmed there will be SOME lay offs, but where and how many is an unknown.
