This last Saturday was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day! The sun was out, the temperature was warm but with a slight chill to it, and the mountains were just covered in color! So we decided it would be fun to take the kids on a hike up Payson Canyon. Adam found a short little easy hike for the kids that went to a little waterfall called “The Grotto.” So we packed up a little picnic lunch and headed for the hills.
Which were absolutely breathtakingly beautiful….

I loved all the reds, oranges, and yellows

And the tall grass mixed in with the color

Getting ready for the hike up (Dawson had it pretty good and got to be held lying down for the first part of the hike while he guzzled down his bottle)

Branson loved going across all the wooden planks in the trail that helped people over the stream. He would put his arms out to keep his balance. Adam decided to try it out too.

I love tender moments like these

Isn’t that Harry-Bob the cutest? Love him!

The kids were so excited to see “The Grotto”

My fellas!

Happy boys!

Big Smiles for Mommy!

Branson had to be the leader on the way down

Da Boy’s!

On the way back down Adam made up a game to see who could pick up the most garbage

I’m pretty sure Adam won! 🙂 It was a wonderful afternoon spent with my wonderful family!
I sure love fall!
