This last Friday Payson held its 55th Annual Salmon Supper. Adam and I have been hearing great things about this dinner since we moved here so we made plans to go and try it out. One of our awesome friends from our singles ward Chad Poulter (who came to Lake Powell with us this year) volunteered to watch the boys for us so we could go, but plans ended up changing when Ad’s Mom rescheduled Cousins Camp for that night. So instead of canceling we just invited Chad and Charisse (also from our ward) to join us at the Salmon Supper for a double date.
It wrapped around 2 sides of the park and was almost 2 city blocks long!

All I have to say is that the Salmon Supper did NOT disappoint. It was probably the best salmon that Adam and I have ever had in our lives. It was DELICIOUS! The suppers were $15 a plate, so each couple decided to split one and it was just perfect. The dinners came with homemade coleslaw, corn on the cob, a baked potato, roll, cookie, and drink, and of course a large piece of mouth watering salmon grilled to perfection.
After we had finished our dinners Chad and Charisse took on a triple dog dare from yours truly to eat their cookie topped with an entire packet of butter and tarter sauce. Crazy enough they took on the challenge which created some fun times and good laughs from us! We absolutely loved being with these two and enjoyed their company so much.

Here they are ready to eat their cookie smeared with butter and tarter sauce! Look at the excitement on their faces.
After our yummy dinner we headed back to our house for some mint brownies the boys and I made and fresh banana bread that Chad and Charisse had made and had ourselves a 2nd feast, this time consisting mostly of sugar! On the way up to the family room though, Charisse decided to show Chad her round house kick! She was awesome and kicked Chad’s brownie and ice cream right off his plate! 🙂

Afterwords we introduced Chad and Charisse to one of our new favorite games “You’re in the movies,” and had a great time doing crazy games and making fools out of ourselves. Below is Adam pushing a wrecking ball to destroy the nearby building!
