Day 4 in Peru had us waking up in beautiful Ollantaytambo which is a small city just outside the Machu Picchu area. When researching where to stay Ollaytaytambo was the city most travel experts recommended and we could see why. It was surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and also has one of Peru’s best Inca sites, which we had an amazing view of right out our front door. It was an incredible site to wake up to.
We decided to book a full day Sacred Valley tour to see all the Inca sites and hired the same taxi driver John who had driven us from the airport the day before. We started our tour out at Pisaq which was so amazingly beautiful. All of us were just in awe, but I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
