Day four in Australia we woke up super early to watch the sunrise on the beach. It was nothing short of AMAZING!!! God sure does know how to touch my heart! It was definitely the highlight of the day and possibly our whole trip! Then we headed to church in town but ended up leaving mid meeting when Adam had a tender moment thinking about his Dad and couldn’t control the tears. The spent the rest of the day we spent driving up the Australia coast to Nelson Bay, several different beaches, and then we stopped at the Sand Dunes on our way home. We sure are loving our time in Australia!

So there is a story with these stairs. As we were walking up, I had my camera in my pocket and started looking for the keys to our room. I ended up taking the camera out of my pocket, but then dropped it, and it fell down two of these flights of stairs, where pieces went flying in every direction. Crazy enough the camera STILL worked, but was severely damaged and you had to hold the battery in place since the cover shattered. We ended up using Adam’s camera a lot after that though but I was sure sad my trusty little camera broke.

After church we headed North to go and see Nelson Bay. Adam was super hot, so he ended up changing into some cooler clothes, while I just switched out my heels for flip flops. 🙂 We ended up driving along the coast and stopping at every beach we could. It was a nice Sunday drive.
This beach was probably my favorite that day! 🙂
Adam and I were amazed at how different each beach was. Such a range of views!
Our last stop of the day was to the sand dunes! Wish we could have gotten closer to the ocean, but it required off road vehicles for that trip! 🙂
Another wonderful day in Australia!
