Hangin’ at the Houseboat – Lake Powell

The rest of the day we spent back at Lukes houseboat enjoying the beautiful 70 degree weather and soaking in lots of family time. The kids all had so much fun playing in the sand and water building cakes and cookies out of sand and shells, as well as paddle boarding, sliding down the rocks, and having water fights with Uncle Luke. Adam, Aly, Jake and Stacey and I went for a hike, while others lounged around talking or watching movies, and others started prepping food for a yummy teriyaki dinner! It was a wonderful care free down day where precious memories were made with precious people! These are always some of my favorite days at Lake Powell! Hopefully the pictures will do this fun afternoon justice. 😉

I spy a couple of crazy kids making out on top of the mountain! Oh wait…That would be my brother! Gross!

A beautiful Sand cake!

Little Lake Powell baseball with sandy rocks and water guns!

Uncle Luke likes to teach em’ young!

Loved watching how these two tease each other. Their relationship is so fun!

Attempting to make a slick rock water slide. Unfortunately it didn’t work too well and mostly caused scraped up little bums!

We ended the evening with this beautiful sunset!

Next up, our fun dance party, talent show, and bum writing game!
