If I thought driving around the lake was beautiful, I’d have to say that hiking down to the lake was even more spectacular because you could see the color of the lake change as you went and the different shades of green and blue. I was just in lake heaven getting to look as this amazing place as we hiked. The color is just so incredible! I think Crater Lake definitely rivals my all time favorite lake of Moraine in Banff Canada and would definitely be in my top 3 all time favorite lakes. The color is just so awesome!
These cousins were just having the best time together! We love how close they are in age and how well they all get along.
I totally loved these moss covered trees too! So pretty!
The super hero Dads who packed down 20+ pound babes in backpacks filled with water bottles and snacks! What would we do without them?
When we got down to the bottom of the lake they had this little shuttle area where you could buy tickets and go over to the island, but unfortunately all the tickets were sold out for the day. They told us we could wait and see if people didn’t show up, but we needed 13 tickets so our chances were pretty slim of all of us getting to go.
I love how tender and caring Adam is to our kids. Here he is comforting Ady who had fallen down and scraped her knee.
